| So...there's this guy at work that asked me out on a date before...and I rejected him.
Well...his feelings haven't changed and he playfully asked me when we were going out on a date. I didn't answer immediately, but he quickly said to think about it and that he'd like an answer by the end of the week.
Honestly...I give the guy some credit. He's got some balls to ask me again, even though I said no the first time....and it's not like I don't like him. He seems like a nice guy. I guess now I'm just trying to figure out why I wouldn't go out with him....

I kind of wonder if it was fear. I had only worked with the guy a few times before he asked the first time, so he was a complete stranger to me. Now that I've worked with him a bit more, he does seem like an ok guy.
Possibly another reason is because he's a bit older than me. Haven't had much experience with older guys, especially since most of the time I'm being hit on by younger ones. Â Â Ohh ok, that's definitely understandable if you didn't know him that well before. If he treats you well and everything, it may be worth a shot To take some of the pressure off, you could even tell him that you will go on one date with him, and see how things go from there. It could be fun though, especially if you feel like you might possibly feel the same way.

I'm sorry Strider. It sounds very disheartening. Is there any way that this time, things could be different or change for the better?

I want to use the skills and talents God gave me, and right now I'm not. I need a good job, and with God's help, I'm sure I can get one. Just depends on where He wants me to be.

| Got a summer job yesterday on the spot! It's just part-time, but the hours are scheduled so I could take an evening and weekend job if I want. I'll be working with preschoolers at a summer camp for a few weeks. So excited | |

| OMG Almost a month since I've been on here!!
Last month I was super busy with work, though that has slowed down considerably since it is the summer holidays. My younger cousin from France and her friend came to stay with my parents for the past 2 and a half weeks so I was doing stuff with them pretty much every day. Now that they're back home, it feels so weird to have all this free time!
I have a small, mini job in the next couple of weeks, but other than that, no plans!

| Kind of bored. We're moving from Texas to Missouri in a few weeks, which is awesome, but until my job begins there I have a few weeks of waiting in-between. My male hormones demand to be doing productive during that time.
Oh well, back to video games.

| LOL finishing a video game could be deemed productive by some. I hope you were/are able to enjoy the downtime in between though!

A friend thought it was odd when I was informing him of all the video game's I had on my list of goals. I just told my sister today to make a list of all the video games she wants to finish and to get started on them. She started making a list. ^_^ I have a tendency to forget to play my games. I have also learned the importance of balance in life.. or keep learning it. So can't have all work and no play. Can't have all play and no work. Gotta balance things in life to stay sane. If I don't have goals to do things including playing games.. then I will end up doing nothing "productive" or enjoyable. Too much of something is bad though. ^_^
