| The lack of 'kindness' in this world is troubling to me. It gets scarcer and scarcer by each day. I think R.C. Sproul needs to take a break from his study in Luke for a bit and preach on kindness for a few Sundays. People need it.
My niece went to the early service this morning because she had to work later. As she was walking into the church her heel broke on her shoe, causing her to fall and badly skin both her knees and ankles. The foyer of the church was full of people...everyone saw her fall down. Thankfully, one older gentlemen came and helped her up. But he was the only one...nobody else even walked up to inquire if she was alright. And on top of that, a group of young people immediately started laughing when she fell.
Yet another reason I'm as anti-social as I am.

| Occasionally I wonder if I'm just watching football because it's what I've always done. Like maybe I could be doing something better... | |

I had a similar incident once, where I slipped on some ice and fell, and hurt myself, and everyone around just laughed.

| Yeah. When I see someone falling, I always want to get there in time to catch them. I can't seem to do it, though. | |

| To me, it is. But then, I am an acknowledged dork... And it's time for bed. Good night | |

| Suddenly I'm having second thoughts about my book, because of the sex. I'll try to tone it down, where possible. | |

| We ask, Jess delivers I think I have it under control now. My aim is to show how frighteningly easy it can be to succumb to impure urges, and I think I've gotten that across. | |

| I could possibly be dating right now if I wanted to, I'd developed a pretty good friendship with one of the girls here at Moody. However, I feel that in some ways I feel it would be dishonest for me to do that in many ways, since I don't feel that drive to fully pursue her and give her the time and focus that I feel someone I was dating would deserve. I don't want to lead someone on thinking there's a future possibility of something if there's not.
I'm content though just to hang out and spend time with her, enjoying the friendship.
Not sure if that makes sense or not, but yeah.

| That makes sense to me Spunkn. I think it's better not to lead anyone on. So better not to date unless you think there might be a future with them. Or you are ready to pursue them with the intent to marry them. But then that's just my personal opinion. I guess how I'd want a guy to treat me. Maybe later you will change your mind about that girl and can pursue her; or maybe not. | |
