| I'm trying to keep myself from whining about my blessings in this post. It's good to remember that they are blessings. Today was, actually, filled with blessings. Why would I whine about the one thing that kind of made me cranky out of the bunches of great things today? Human nature, fallen man, we are so prone to whine and grumble...aren't we? Well, at least I know I can be prone to a case of the grumbles every so often. You know, nearly every day.
...
Done rambling for now. | |

| Unfortunately, being saved doesn't mean we can't let our pride or hurt feelings control us. We need to guard against that. It's normal to be hurt or angry sometimes, but before we respond, we need to think about what the godly response would be. | |

| I had dinner with a friend. I think she really needed to talk and I am so glad she trusts me enough to pour her heart out. And the food was great. I am full and got home safe and sound. I thank God everyday for that, cause traffic is horrid every single day! | |

| I'm getting ready for bed and looking forward to the weekend. - Dandelions in the Rain wrote:

I wanted them to feed the tortoises because they love them... so hopefully I will find more soon.
One time my friend found a dandelion while we were walking downtown somewhere; she brought it onto the elevator to an art museum; and didn't let anyone touch it. She also found a mushroom.. and was wearing flared jeans (that she made flared herself).. and had long hair at the time.. so I was calling her a hippy all day. The other friend we had with us I was telling him he should eat the dandelions we found. Tortoises eat dandelions? Learn something new everyday. We used to occasionally eat dandelion leaves in our salads when I was a kid. Your friend sounds a little like a hippie, but I think it's cool that she made her own bell-bottoms. - Miss Spaulding wrote:

Which one? The same can be said about many BBC series. - Strider1002 wrote:

Well said. It can be a daily challenge. - OneHappyCookie wrote:

They love them! Also turtles like to eat them too. Me and my awesome friend I just mentioned had a turtle that her brother or father found and we decided to release it in the lake; but I was curious if it would eat some dandelions so we fed it some before releasing it. ^_^ So you've eaten dandelion leaves? How was it? | |

| I just read an article about random acts of kindess and paying it forward. It's so nice to see that people still care. Maybe as a whole our society is selfish but individuals are still showing how kind they can really be. | |

| First week of training is over. Phew, it has been a long week filled with information. I'm working the housing desk so I'll get to deal with so many "pleasant" students. Haha. At least I'm not a CA though. Their jobs seem really hectic. I just deal with keys and mail. lol | |
