Here we go. It's basically lasagna, but with chicken, and rolled up into 9 separate pieces. And then lovingly covered with a blanket of cheese [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| It probably doesn't look very appetizing - I was too hungry to take my time to take a good picture. Pasta from a box and hot chocolate from scratch - next time I make the hot chocolate I will try adding more milk. But it's really good. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Thank you! It made quite a bit! Especially considering it's just my sister and I for this week. You are very welcome to come here and help us devour it. I wish there was a way to send food fast enough so it didn't lose it's freshness. hmmm... | |

| We need teleports. I would come over in 5 minutes if we did. But perhaps you'd like some hot chocolate in exchange, so I'll make some from scratch to bring before I teleport. | |

| Is it called Amish cinnamon bread because you wear a bonnet while you make it? | |

| Well it's rather complicated. If you're a female, yes you wear a bonnet AND apron (don't try without the apron... it's not pretty!) however if you're a male you have to wear some type overalls.

=P So are you saying I'd have to wear a bonnet and overalls? Maybe I'll just stick to regular cinnamon bread...

| You guys make me laugh. I just made a grilled cheese sandwich.. with shredded cheese since that's all we had. I had a bit of trouble keeping the cheese in the sandwich. Recipe (incase you don't know how to make a grilled cheese sandwich): bread, butter, cheese, frying pan, spatula. Turn on the heat and mix it all together. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Let me know if the recipe works for you. Caution: Keep a fire extinguisher close. | |

| This recipe is for Dandelion (and anyone else who may be interested). I just remembered that I meant to give it to her like a week and a half ago, lol. *NOTE Take the measurements in the recipe with a grain of salt because to be honest, I never measure, I only eyeball my measurements when cooking. But this is my best assessment of what the correct measurements are.
Homemade Hot Chocolate
- 1 cup of Whole Milk
- 2 tbls. of Water
- 1 tbls. of Coffee
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 2 tbls. of Cocoa powder (or more if you like it extra chocolaty)
- 1 cup of Sugar (perhaps start out with less and then taste it to see if you need more)
- 1 tbls. of Coconut oil
- a pinch of cayenne pepper (*optional)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
-In saucepan add your water, coffee, vanilla, coconut oil, and cocoa powder and whisk together well, cooking on medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Then add in your milk (preheated in the microwave or on stove), whisk together and then let heat for another minute. Then add your sugar, whisking together well (I don't know why I keep telling you this, I think you got it by now ). Turn heat down to medium-low. Finally, throw in your pinch of cayenne pepper and mix it in. Let hot chocolate heat for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally, and then you're done.

*If this is for you and a couple other people, then you can double the recipe. Also, if you like peppermint, adding a teaspoon of peppermint extract to it tastes wonderful.

I'm glad you liked my instructions. I forgot to include an open flame as one of the ingredients. So this could go terribly wrong. No one put a frying pan in the microwave, toaster, or oven. I think maybe I should make another grilled cheese sandwich today. But we might be all out of cheese. That is a crucial ingredient. - Rayofsun wrote:

Thank you for sharing! =) That sounds really good. Especially the coconut oil. ^_^ Is it okay if I make it.. without the coffee?
