I don't want to live on a planet where Disney's Robin Hood is considered obscure...

Well older & obscure, you'd be surprised how many people haven't seen it though

I still need to watch Grosse Point Blank.
And its not on Netflix - boo!
Anything with Cary Grant in it is full of win.

What makes something older or obscure?
I know my favorite black and white film would count though.

ooo I remember Rigoletto.
One favorite obscure movie of mine is Inside Man. There are a lot of F-words in it so if you ever catch it on TV, that's best, but the plot is so good. It's just awesome.
Also, The Kingdom is really good. It gives you an intriguing perspective on militant Islam.

All I Want For Christmas!!!
I used to watch that every year until my VHS broke and I got a DVD player instead. I need to find a new copy of that one.

I`d say, "Its a date!"
Buut then you'd take it literally and start dancing and hyperventilating and just freaking me out in general.
So I'll just say, "cool."

Demetrius and the Gladiators is pretty good. You'll never see a big-budget movie with that attitude toward Christianity these days...

I have plenty of 'older' films to mention, but it's the 'obscure' part that's stumping me. Well, I'm about to pop in one of my all-time favorites and suddenly it hit me...this! This is definitely an older and 'obscure' gem that I would recommend to anyone. Definitely a kind of drama that's up my alley. I love stories that show the flaws, weaknesses, and dark sides to people...raw reality. I love that. ...This movie was nominated for 8 Academy Awards, and yet not many people have heard of it, let alone seen it.

My favorite musical film.
I think it's old and obscure.
