Wasn't Shirley Temple in the Searchers or am I thinking of another film? Singin' in the Rain is definitely one of my favorite films ever.

Oh, I thought of another good western. Last Train From Gun Hill is a great movie! Kirk Douglas and Anthony Quinn. There are some elements to it that a bit similar to 3:10 to Yuma (also an excellent western!).

The biggest negative I hear about it from others (always after their 'first' time watching it) is about the music. It comes across as annoying and kind of distracting at times. I, however, love it. I think it's perfect for the mood of the story.

The story itself is great.

One of my recommended movies was on TCM today. I found out about it ten minutes before it started... I didn't have time to watch, so I recorded it.
