I just cooked some pasta last night. It takes a lot of skill to fail at that Laughing

Spent the morning wandering through the woods. Geo-caching, technically. I'd definitely do that again. Though I should wear my Indy hat next time, just seems appropriate.

It's more rice than pasta. Pasta isn't too difficult. You can taste when it's ready. But rice requires a PHd in chemistry to get right

No man should leave the house without his Indy hat.

Mmm. I made rice last night. I love dicing up white button mushrooms, and when the rice has just finished cooking, you throw in the mushrooms. Mushroom take like 2 seconds to cook, so that's why I put them in at the last minute. Anyhoo...it tastes so good.

Seasonings? In rice? Lol. I pretty much only ever cook the slow cooking brown rice, which isn't pre-seasoned or anything. I boil it in chicken broth (which provides a lot of the flavor), and in the chicken broth I throw in a chopped up clove of fresh garlic (hmm, perhaps two cloves Smirk ), and also pepper the broth as well.

When it's finished I just throw in the diced mushrooms, mix them in well, and the steam from the rice cooks them perfectly. I don't really salt my rice because I always put hot sauce on my rice, which is already salty.

You can salt if you like though. That's pretty much up to you and what you prefer.

Yes. Always boil it in chicken broth. You'll never go back to just plain water. Razz Wink

Going to go see 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2' later with Blythe. Razz Definitely one of my favorite animated movies. It's so cute. The first one anyway. I hope this one is good too.

It was! I was with a group... it'd be fun with just two or three people, though.

Basically, Tony, people hide boxes in different places, put the coordinates online, and other people get the coordinates and go looking for them Smile

^ Exactly. It's so funny you mentioning you did something like this today because earlier this morning I posted (only, unbeknownst to be it didn't actually post) that I wanted to go on an adventure today. Razz
