The 2013/2014 CC NFL Fantasy League

I got lucky with Foster being ruled out, cause the Colts' D was doing nothin'.

Next week I'll start Luck, then Rivers will have a big week.

I'd start Rivers next week. They're at home versus Denver and their passing defense is the worst in the NFL.

^ actually, I might retract that.  Luck is facing St. Louis.  Always horrible.  But Denver's defense is on the up, especially with Woodyard and Miller back.  The pass rush was all over RG3 and knocked him out of the game.  People keep saying that Denver has the worst passing defense, so Rivers will throw all over Denver, but their three best players (Bailey, Miller and Woodyard) on D was out most of the first half of the season.  Having them all back after the bye-week, I'm betting on Denver's D being one of the best as they were last season, which is why I'm taking a gamble on them this week.

As for tonight's game, I hope they keep giving the ball to Peterson.  They were saying that the last five weeks or so, they barely gave Peterson the ball and that's why his numbers have been down.  But when they gave him the ball against the Cowboys last week, he tore it up.  Getting Peterson would be a steal if they just gave him the ball.

Then on the other RB slot...Moreno or Bush? Bush or Moreno? I can't decide!!! SD gives up the least amount of points to RBs in the league...but then...Peyton Manning  

I'm so depressed about Aaron Rodgers. I don't know what to do with myself. Hopefully the Packers (and my fantasy team) survive these next 3-6 games.

Denver doesn't have THE worst pass defense, but they have given up a good bit. St Louis is usually tough on defense. I don't know; I'll see what Yahoo recommends.

LOL I just saw Rivers' stats where it said he is on track for 34 touchdowns on the season. Manning has 29 for the first half of the season

I have three "Starts of the Week" on my roster. And they're all Chargers, hmm... wonder who they're playing...

Though I couldn't possibly start Antonio Gates over Jimmy Graham.

So glad I followed Yahoo's sage advice and didn't start Luck.

Good Lord. When they say Jimmy Graham probably won't play, he goes in and puts up a monster game. They say he probably WILL play, and he does next to nothing. Gah.

Wow I could easily lose this week. All my players have rough match-ups, especially Denver against Kansas City. Adrian Peterson is playing Seattle, so I'm debating whether or not to sit him in favor of Reggie Bush who is playing Pittsburgh.

Hey Strider, I guess there's a trade deadline thingy on that you can turn off. Would you please do that for us?

ha! I just did the same thing! I got excited that he scored his second TD...then realized..."why am I cheering against the Lions?"

Apparently the popular thing now is for other people to have non-QB's score 20+ points while my team sucks it up -_-'

Phew. Just pulled ahead in points to maintain my number one status. It was getting close as ALL of my players have underperformed except for one.

You had to expect some underperforming against the Chiefs' defense.

Yeah, I did. But Peterson, Bush (who I wisely sat), T.Y. Hilton...other non-Broncos also underperformed.

Wow. Wannaberocker beats me and takes over first place lol. Good job! This is one of those instances where having a lot of players from the same team hurt me.

Wow. I had that nagging voice tell me, "Play Reggie Bush. Moreno is hobbled." Now I wish I listened to that voice! 22 points! I need to find another RB in case Moreno is ruled out on Sunday. I have Zac Stacy, but he got a concussion and may not play either.
