My sister posted this.. and said she didn't have it quite as bad.. but because I'm too proud I didn't comment on it there and posted it here instead. I can be that bad. But I learned ways to get through presentations.. usually involving reading everything. And using visual aids. I've done okay... but I have also turned completely pale and one friend in 9th grade kindly told me I turned green (for my first presentation I ever did). I also started crying in front of my whole class.. and so the teacher let me leave the classroom. Fun times. I'm not as bad as that first presentation now. But it can happen... I've gotten through quite a few presentations in college.. you just have to know how to get through.. when my natural reaction is that comic. My second presentation I just read from a book and a few notes of what I wanted to say. And I didn't get nervous and everyone loved it. I remember feeling like that so bad though.. it's the worst when you have to sit in class waiting for your turn to present. The longer you sit there waiting the worse it is.

This is SOOO me!! If only I could just 'write' everything done and never speak. Life would be so much better for me, and definitely less awkward. Hahaha.

^ Oh yes. Very true. ...My highschool graduation speech is a perfect example of that.

Haha, that picture is hilarious! I can be like that sometimes. I am not always the best at communicating in person unless I was able to think something through thoroughly beforehand, or if I am very energetic at the time. Most of my speeches/presentations never turned out very well though, only one did I think, but it was a topic that I knew a lot about. I am never satisfied with my writing though I am afraid. I want to express things in such a clear way so that it cannot be misunderstood no matter what angle you look at it, that I either spend a terribly long time trying to figure out how to write it, or if I can't think of the right words I will just forget about it completely and delete it all, which is most often what I do. :o

When I was auditioning to get a scholarship for university for being in the band the director asked me to also audition for the choir so I said okay. He choose Amazing Grace thinking that anyone would know the lyrics. But alas this is the version my church tends to sing.
I would sing then when I didn't know the words I'd sing quieter so I could hear what he was singing but then he would sing quieter so he could actually hear me singing.
I can't say I got a scholarship for choir.
I guess I should have told him I didn't actually know the words.. But I just wanted to be done.

I miss watching ballet. The last time I did was when I was still back home.
