It rained. ^_^ But those of you who live anywhere else probably wouldn't have considered it rain. I stood outside for most of it.. but hardly got wet at all. Down the street it looked like it poured there.

I would have been outside the whole time.. but I got stung by fire ants I had to make sure none were still on my feet. ^_^ But I went right back outside again and just watched for ants carefully.
I looked for a dandelion to film for everyone.. but I couldn't find one.

It shouldn't surprise you. I live in Southern California.
It's been "raining" in scattered places around this past week though. Just not on my house except a sprinkle... perhaps less than a sprinkle. I'm not sure how much water has to fall to be considered a sprinkle.
We're having the second year in a row where we haven't gotten as much rain as usual though.
Average rainfall for September is 0.1 inch. So far we've gotten 0.01 inch. So... maybe it will rain again... I hope.

Sharon, I enjoyed your video, late night ramblings? I liked how you said that. I'm glad you are safe after driving through that rain! I can relate with what you said about shopping and painting nails, I dislike shopping most of the time too and I'm not much into other girl things either, except maybe for hair; I do probably think about my hair more than I should, even though I don't do much with it ever. Thanks for sharing your video!

My very long response to your long video. part way through I thought about making a video response.. but I'm not sure. I don't like hearing my voice. Also I don't want to wake family up. So I just typed a response.
Response to Miss Spaulding's video:
Imagining crazy things happening... I definitely do that as well. I was doing it yesterday actually... imagining myself being murdered or something in the city and then a murder mystery coming from that. I don't normally think about murder's or murder mysteries or anything like that.. but my mind is random.
I recently heard of Duck Dynasty I should try watching that sometime.
I dog sat a few times and I brought a lot of books with me; brought a guitar with me; brought my camera with me. Ended up watching some tv (Hannah Montana was the only thing on though.. but I'd never seen that show before then...) But I was still quite bored. There was no internet in that house. One evening that I was there though I asked the owner of the house if it was okay to have a couple friends (girls) and my sister over to watch a movie and eat pizza. She said yes. So we ended up watching 5 Harry Potter movies and eating pizza and candy. That was definitely more fun than the days of sitting around. I also had just months before bought my camera.. so I took pictures and made a few videos messing with settings. But I was bored a lot of the time.. there's only so much Hannah Montana, book reading, guitar practicing, and photography one can do in a day. Myself I love being alone... but not all the time.
I think it would be easier for me to talk while driving as well. Somehow driving clears the mind enough to be able to talk about things. I guess for me its I like to be occupied doing something which makes it a little bit easier to talk.
I wish it would rain here like it did there! I'm glad you were able to get out of the grass/mud though. And didn't float away. I wonder if I'd think differently about rain if I lived in florida.
I'm also really bad at buying gifts. I just don't know what to get people. And I don't care for shopping much at all. I do like giving gifts.. but I'm not so good at knowing what to get.
I don't wear makeup at all… but I like nail polish, I just forget to use it. I used to wear nail polish all the time when I was in junior high. My nails were usually long and sparkly blue. I kind of wish I knew how to paint my nails well.
The best quote from your video that made me laugh "why are you here? shouldn't you be watching football? fishing?"
yeah… I think you are weird… but then I only get along with weird people…
Oh one more thing.. the way you videoed the night stand while taking... I do stuff like that every single time someone tries to video skype or facetime me. sometimes I move the camera around to different things I think might be interesting.. or it just points at the ceiling...
Oh and what is the name Miss Spaulding from? I remember asking before but I can't remember what you said.
I love that video! Your dog is so cute. And that looks so fun. It reminds me of the last time I went horse riding the dog came with us.
