What are you thankful for?

Just a thread to remind ourselves to be thankful for things and remember what we do have.

Tonight I'm thankful for friends and family, and free time to enjoy company with one another.

I'm thankful for family and friends today as well. They make life better.

Also thankful for God's unconditional love.

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angles nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39

People's generosity.
A friend gave me a box of Godiva chocolates and a Dutch gouda cheese. My favorite. It seems like everyone is getting it "right". hahah
Another friend here in DK gave my niece a laptop so she can use it for her school.

Airport.
I will be going to the airport later to send off someone. I have been to the airport too many times this year. Goodbye is never easy but moving on with life is good. I am expectant of God's unchanging grace for their lives as they move out from DK.

A kind nephew.
I chatted briefly with my nephew. Such a great, down to earth and humble boy. So proud of him.

Prayer and comfort.

Awesome weather today for jet skiing, it was just perfect.

A roof over my head, food in my belly, and some money in the bank (Not much, but hey  )
I am thankful for His blood so that my worthless hide could be made acceptable, for His mercy, His patience and the fact that while my day was long and all I want to do is shower and go to bed, it is one more day with some time left in the day to spend in His word.

Also, I am thankful that with every passing day, we are one day closer to..... FOOTBALL SEASON!     

I am thankful for running water, for it is time for Toro's night time shower so that my sheets dont get nasty from my daytime accumulated funk and my morning shower is quicker. Also, I am thankful I have sheets that still smell like laundry soap. I love clean sheets.  

Coffee. Toasted bread. Cheese.

My bed!

I'm thankful for all that is good, which comes from God. But most of all, I am thankful for God's mercy and sacrifice! If it weren't for that, we'd all be doomed for eternity.

I honestly am in such a bad mood, this is exactly the thread I need.

Despite just having an argument with my sister...
I very am thankful for her. I am thankful that we normally get along so well, that she is often understanding of me and all my faults. I am thankful that she is often so wise and can act maturely. I am thankful for all the ways and things she encourages me in. She is a wonderful listener and always tries to see my point of view. I guess, I am thankful that I always have her in my corner.

Oh, I feel better! I think I should go say sorry and give her a hug now lol.

It must be great to have a sister like you.

I'm thankful for my mattress. The few hours I get to spend with it are wonderful.

And I'm thankful for a job. Even if it drives me crazy.

I am thankful that the Lord has made it clear in my craziness that I am crazy, none of this "Oh no, I think I might be crazy" I was born into acceptance of this fact.
