I wonder how long it will take them to fix the dish washer at the new apartment.

I hope it's not a bad sign that the dishwasher and a power outlet don't work.

I guess I will get a chance to see how quickly they get around to solving problems. I am there for 6 months, nothing says I have to unpack in that time if they are slow or I really don't like the place for whatever reason.

You know that voice inside your head that says you're nothing, no one really cares about you, you're not worth anything?

That's not God. It's not truth.

Truth is your a child of God, you are worth value and speaking from my own perspective I think you're a great guy but like me, you don't give yourself enough credit & chances and when you screw up it feels like you blew up the world. But the truth is everyone makes mistakes, we all have our weaknesses, and our quirks. Doesn't mean people won't want to "put up with you".

We put up with you because you're just as worthwhile as the rest of us.

It's nice to see that Fall is finally here. We had a couple chilly days earlier in the week, and the leaves are just beginning to change color.

Pumpkin pie needs whipped cream; or ice cream.

I'm more fond of apple pie, but I wouldn't turn down pumpkin pie if I found some on my plate. Very Happy

I think I like blueberry and cherry pie the most. Pumpkin and apple pie are good as well though. It reminds me, I haven't had dessert in such a long time; I really need to try making something sometime. Very Happy

There are a lot of threads I'd like to reply to, hmm, where to start first. Confused

This has to be one of the longest football games (not including an overtime) I've ever watched.

I might try to make pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. We'll see how that goes.

I think I will get an alarm service maybe for the new place.

It is great for my recluse moments, at the same time.... it's also out of sight which makes it a prime target for robbery. Shielded from passers by, in cars and walking. Many "exit routes".

At the very least I think I will set my computer to record any movement to a hidden hard drive. Also, think this sword and knife fanatic may become a gun owner as well.

Would give "my homeboy" someone to roll to the gun range with as well.

I hope no one bothers you. Maybe a guard pet would be good too.

I came by this picture today, and I thought, wow, we need a cat like this to keep out the chicken thieves! Smile

Guard pet.... hmmm..... maybe I should get a pet bull. I'll name him "Norman".

Helloooooo. ( :30 mark )

Well, I think it's bed time.

This will probably be the last time I post here for awhile.... (I said that before, but I left my computer here. I didn't know if I would get enough moved to have my computer here tonight or not.)

Take care people, see you when I get internet again..... til then.....

It is a funny picture in my mind seeing a bull chasing a robber away, lol.

Good night Toro. Stay safe in your absence. Smile

I have two story ideas. One is the sequel to the novel I just finished and the other I had a scene in mind, but didn't know where it would go until today when the rest of it came. I've started on both of them. I wonder if I should just focus on both, or keep the other story a short story and release it with my novel.

I say pick something different from what you just finished and focus on it for a while. Get your mind off what you just did.

It's important enough to take your time and do a good search. But I'm sure you know that Smile

I tried to start my next novel as soon as I published White Friday. I got about one paragraph done before I realized I needed to do some research first Razz

Yeah I realize that, it's just that much harder for someone with my personality / background.  I'm horrible at trying new things / meeting new people. Just makes it draining.
